And with his easily understandable style of writing he leads readers through every stage of this process and beyond.

Writing books, for Preye, is about more than just writing and printing books to sell. It is about inspiring, motivating and educating readers through the books and equipping them with the information that they need to live life to its highest potential and achieve their best dreams.

Preye’s 411 pages book Heroes In Many Trials: The Secrets To Living An Overcoming Victorious Life, was written in year 2009, has 34 chapters and it’s broken down into four parts which typically fit logically into the topic of the chapters; The first part talks about scriptural heroes who passed through tough trials, the second explains eighteen different trials, the third offers ten practical steps anyone can take to succeed in the midst of the trials while the fourth part reveals how anyone can obtain complete victory from hard times through praising God.

Heroes are men and women of great valour going on in hardship even when the going gets tough and tougher. No matter what faces heroes, they never give up instead they get over and get going. As he says:

“Heroes are people of great valour. They are vessels of Gold. They are ordinary people that became extraordinary people. They are low-class and average people that through experience, study, planning, preparation, practice and through the help of God they became brilliant people; making great impact all over the world. They’re vessels fit for the Master’s use. They scale through tough times studying, preparing, thinking and they became the brain of their world. The sky is their limit after coming out of many afflictions that God delivered them from.”

Challenges are not there to break you; they are there to make you stronger. Just as there is a time to suffer trials, there is also a time to come out from trials into a wealthy place:

“In many trials, heroes are proved as heroes. They were tried as silver is tried. They fell into net; storms, failure, disappointment, discouragement, sickness, distraction, confusion (wandering), prison, depression, setback, delay and flood such as untold poverty and negative situations. They fell into various circumstances of life. They were hungry, thirsty and afflicted all over their bodies. Men rode over their heads. They were opposed, scorned, mocked, oppressed, rejected and hated. They went through trials of fire and of water (the red sea) but God brought them out into a wealthy place; a place of milk and honey, a place of rest of mind where there is no hardship or struggle and a place of enjoyment, full of all kinds of goodies. I know you will reach there.”

Throughout the book, Preye pairs scriptural lessons with personal anecdotes to make his points. The book reveals trials that people faced before becoming extraordinary in their personal and professional lives. People who must succeed should be aware of challenges beforehand, know what it takes to leap over challenges and prepare ahead in order to overcome them.

In his 220 pages book with 10 Chapters Readership Edges that was written in year 2011, Preye wants to give readers the edges that will make them lifelong readers and persons of influence, compel them to achieve personal excellence in all their endeavours and give reader directions to soar with books. He had a conversation with someone that inspires him to write the book:

“By February in the year 2011, I had a conversation with Kate Magada about reading problems in the country. She communicated as usual that the greatest problem we have in this country is that ‘few’ people read books. As I left her presence after long conversation, walking home in my curiosity, I began to think of a solution to reading problem and I decided today to pick up the challenge in order to solve it. You see, it is not about changing the world and others; it is about changing ourselves in order to change our world and influence others.”

“My mission” Preye posited, “is to inspire, motivate and educate people through books, seminars, workshops, counseling and coaching.” He also said:

“I have a call, vision and a map to achieve the vision of impacting generations of men and women to love reading. I have written books titled “The World is a School” and “The 17 Dynamic Readers” about continual learning, growing and improving. This book is one of my books on self-improvement among others and I still have more books to write about readership and making a difference. You and I can really help others to read. I believe that with the assistance of the readers and leaders of this country, both young and old people can make it in the world of books.”

In the book, he gave a new definition of the word Readership. “Readership is the the ability to learn to read daily.” Preye equipped, “The ability to understand what you read daily, the ability to absorb what you read daily, the ability to act with what you read daily and the ability to help people learn to read daily.” He believes that readership is like every other skills that can be learned.

Also, in the book you will learn that being a good reader is a lifelong learning experience, giving reading your focus will pay dividends and that life is an ongoing pool of discovery, learning and growth. The spirit behind Readership Edges is one of creativity and flexibility–experimenting with strategies and techniques in order to help people succeed in all their endeavours. One of the chapters of the book, called “The Psychology of Readership–Reading Is Feeding Your Mind” emphasis that reading has a powerful operation over the mind:

“The challenge of great performance is to manage our mind and energy more effectively in all dimensions to achieve our goals. People from all walks of life, in every endeavour are interested in improving themselves and organizing their minds and memory. A trained memory is one of the most important factors in mental organization. The person with a well-trained and organized mind is the happy and successful person. As one of U.S. finest president Abraham Lincoln said, “Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” You will be as powerful as your mind. The mind is the leader or for runner of all actions. To empower your mind in other to learn and improve, you need to feed your mind with empowering thoughts. Reading can activate your mind to learn, improve and achieve excellence in your life.”

Preye has detailed and specific information introducing readers to the concepts they will need to stir their reading skills and be all they can be. This is the kind of information that is particularly useful for people who might not know where to begin when it comes to daily practicalities of building and sustaining success through reading and self-improvement. In the book’s final chapter, called “You Must Continue To Learn To Continue To Lead” Preye says:

“If you desire to lead and continue to lead you need to invest in yourself daily. Do not think of learning as being a burden or studying as being boring. As I have learned and observed, investing in yourself first may look selfish to some of the people around you. They may even criticize you for it. If they do, they don’t really understand how growth works. To succeed you must learn. To remain a success, you must continue to learn. So today, if you don’t have a plan for growth, it is a wise choice to go ahead and make one for yourself. Always make continual learning your habit daily. Making learning your habit will change everything about you from success to significance.”

These final words capture the intent of the book, which is a compendium of both the practical and inspirational. Preye spends a lot of time in the book encouraging readers to develop interest in books, passion for reading and ultimately, develop their own potential to achieve excellence. To say the obvious, the book fleshed out several insightful thoughts; the well-organized chapters and careful presentation of words shows that Preye has a knack of getting to the core of his subjects and his informed knowledge will stir readers to the books they have read and stimulate desire of those they have not.

There is no doubt that African Young Achievers Award winner Preye Tambou is a dynamic author, but to fully appreciate his latest books, The Joy of Reading amongst others, a quick read-through might not do. In the 137 pages book with 7 chapters, Preye seems to take joy in challenging the reader. He often inserts biography of great people and prismatic quotes in a context that inspires the reader towards excellence. The book is focus on helping readers achieve lifetime success through self-improvement. Pay attention to this word of advice:

Reading can make you rich. Reading can give you the idea you need to build your company and organization. Reading can give you solution to problems. Reading can spark idea in your mind. Reading can give you courage to face challenges and overcome it. Reading makes you ready for success.”

Preye’s The Joy of Reading is a practical guide deliberately put down to help you succeed.

In his 121 pages book with 7 chapters, Execute Your Dreams, Preye Tambou supplies in-depth information that aims at helping readers bring their best dreams to life. He believe that life is not just about having dreams but understanding the dreams and taking the necessary steps to make it happen: As he says:

“The world does not celebrate wishers and dreamers; they celebrate doers and achievers.”

Dreams, as Preye puts it, is a promise, spiritual instruction and direction about our life and destiny:

“Dream tells you where to go and where to withdraw from. Dream tells you what will happen between hours, days, months and years. Dream has eyes. Dream is the eye that sees the future clear. Dream make you think, see, hear and act big. Dream is a medium by which God communicates with man. Dream sometimes is called night vision. Dream is the power of affirmation and zealous desire. Dream is sound imagination coming true. Dream is older than age even age cannot stop its reality. Dreaming big dream is thinking big, opening your mouth and making some prophetic declaration that could positively alter the rhythm of your live. Your way of thinking can positively project you into your wealthy place. Say something good of yourself, see it, dream it, seize it and become it.”

One of the first steps, Preye lays down in the book, called “Write Out The Blueprint Of Your Dreams” emphasis the need to cultivate our dreams by writing it out and creating concrete plan of how it will be executed:

“A dream without plan is merely a dream but dreams with calculated plans are boundless. Successful people know that when a man develops a concrete plan for his dream, he will never miss out the opportunities to execute it, unless he is lazy. Likewise when a man have dream without a well-structured plan, he is most likely going to miss opportunities. You cannot steer up your life towards the right direction of your destiny if you don’t write out the blueprint of your dream.”

Have you ever wondered why you set New Year resolutions and then a year later, you look back and see you didn’t accomplish any of them? One of the causes may be because you didn’t write them down as goals and taking the necessary actions. Writing down your dreams can enable you find the right road to get to where you want to be in life.

Apart from writing down your dreams, the book teaches readers to rise up and triumph over dream killers. These steps among others are well crafted inside the pages of Preye’s Execute Your Dreams to spice up readers lives and help them live their best dreams.

“One of the beauties of humanity is that we make our own choices and with those choices we can go wherever our minds and hearts desire. The secret of leading from backstage to platform is choosing the correct works for your inner voice that will allow you bring out the best version of yourself. You will need an inner voice of this nature to persevere through hard times than you could have ever imagined. More so, our actions create our lives as our thoughts create our actions and our thoughts are communicated to us in form of a language. Therefore, to move to greater platforms in our personal and professional lives, we need to stop using vocabulary that makes us smaller, weaker and discouraged; and be consistent in taking calculated actions toward achieving our best dreams.”

On a final note, the five books use of biography and historical stories helps to make the works come to life as something more than significant events on a timeline. While at times the stories may clutter the page, they also breathe life into what is considered by many to be a dull subject. The author’s enthusiasm for the topic is obvious throughout the books.

Preye’s writings are very simple, clear and easy to understand; he writes smart content using simple words in a logical presentation and down-to-earth entertaining style but to get the full effect, dive into them. His books equip readers to succeed in the best way.
